When i was a child, my mom used to tell some stories to scary me, and, maybe, make me more polite.
One of this stories was called “the old bag man”. It was about a man who took bad behaved children and put them in a bag. After that, nobody never seen these children.

After, when i was a little mature, was very common i met my friends to tell horror stories and scary each other. My favorite was a version of “Freddy Krueger” which a friend of mine told us: A strange man, with claws instead of hands killed a lot of men and women without motive.

Times are rough for men.
There are many women taking advantage of good men. This kind of woman I’m talking about is very sly. She pretends to be a good person, until the man fall in love. And then… She shows her real face. She takes advantage of the man, making him pay for all kind of things and satisfy all her desires. And when the man finally try to get his part of the agreement … she denies. She kicks out him, and search for another victim, leaving him alone, sad and, maybe, with a child support to pay.
Another problem is , we live in a society with confuse roles.
Men don’t know where are their place anymore.
In the past, things were very simple: the men used to work while the women took care home and child. But everything changed. Industrial Revolution, feminism…
Nowadays, both work, but unfortunately women remain with some privileges . They work, but the major part of their salary is used to buy things for themselves, like makeup, perfume, clothes, shoes… Meanwhile, men have to pay by essential things, like food, accounts, education of kids….

Today i’ll write about my favorite game series all the time
Silent Hill
Dark, fear, nightmares, blood and a lot of fun !
The first time I’ve played Silent Hill i was about 15 years old. I won a Playstation 1 and choose a few titles: Harry Potter, The King of Fighters and Silent Hill. I didn’t knew the game yet, but the cover call my attention.
I remember i used to play with my cousin, Diego, who was a hardcore gamer. We used to play all night long, trying to survive and unravel the mysteries of the game. It was a very hard game for us, by the way. But we finish the game (with a little help of the Internet, of course)
Years later, i got the second game of series, Silent Hill 2, for PC. I finished that too.
Finally, with my Playstation 2 i’ve finished the third game and almost the forth game, witch i didn’t finished because the dvd was bugged 😦
But, why i like these games so much ?

I think these games can translate how the nightmares really are.
The authors put elements that are a kind of psychological matter. The game is a collection of things without form, people with undefined faces, children, childhood, dogs, drama and strange monsters that doesn’t make sense when you are awake. Just like the nightmares.
The story and characters are common people that suddenly down in a strange situation, running for their lives.
Apart from that, the sound track is always great and makes the player immerse on that terrific universe.
A lot of Brazilian users attacked the Mark Zuckerberg Profile on Facebook. They left many messages, memes, jokes and made messy, absolutely trolling the Facebook CEO.
Strange thing, right ? Maybe for the strangers.
Unfortunately, this is a very common act in our culture. Most Brazilians make jokes about anything. It doesn’t mean we are impolite or we don’t respect other cultures.
We just don’t have limits.
I’ve heard one time: “Brazilian people are happy”.
Well, i agree. But, sometimes, i think we are too happy: We are Silly
I don’t know how really is in other countries, but i would like we are more like Japanese people.
Yesterday i have started watching Breaking Bad. =D =D =D
I know, i know ! The tv show already has 5 seasons and 62 episodes… I’m a little late, but i was busy with my course and yada yada yada… But now, while i study english and programming, i want to watch some series and do different stuffs i like.
I liked the two first episodes. The history is about a teacher who has a average life because doesn’t gain well, with a son with special needs and a wife who is pregnant. The character, performed by Bryan Cranston is diagnosed with cancer and because all of this situation, went crazy and started to use his Chemical knowledge to to make coke and gain money to his wife and son.
I like this kind of story, when a ordinary person freak out for some reason and start to do unexpected things. Some movies has similar stories: Falling Down (1993), American Psycho (2000)
Starting the new phase of this blog, i want talk about music.
I listen to different kinds of music, it depends of my mood. Sometimes i listen to relaxing music, like jazz, new age… and sometimes i need to listen more heavy music, like heavy metal, classic rock’n’roll or maybe hard rock.
I’m not (bias) with music. My favorite music is the good one.
However, one kind of music i have been listening is “Electronic Music”. I’m aways listening lounge music when I’m on computer or doing something. My favorite group is “Daft Punk” who releasedthat song.
But i know “Daft Punk” a long time. Since the first time a saw this strange video clip, called “around the world” in the golden age of MTV Brazil.
At the same time i thought “What the hell is going in here” and “My god, why this simple music is so cooool ?!”
I fell in love. Since then, i have listening all their albums.It’s impressive how a music with three words can so attractive.
In my opinion, the repetition of the samplers with little words, make then assume a new meaning, and penetrate on our minds.
A software engineer should be good at solving logical problems. The biggest part of his job is about solving logical problems, in different ways. So, the developer have to solve problems and really like it.
Another skill he must have is creativity. To think out of the box, create news solutions for old problems, improve processes using new technologies.
And, by the way, all of the work should focus on facilitate the life of the Users. Software, applets and technology are ways to achieve a objective. They aren’t a end in itself.
Finally, in spite of all technical skills, a software engineer have to be good with people. He have be communicative, polite (forget about Zuckerberg Asperger Syndrom ). and a good listener (remember the user ?). If you aren’t good with networking, you’ll pass bad times…
In my opinion, the best part of been a software engineer is to know my job can change the life of people. Remember how was send a message twenty years ago? Did you imagine how hard was the work in banks and financial enterprises ?
